well i got sick of wearing regular armor so i said ok, lemme just add my assassin to my 15k party and what better than to get endgame 15k? why not i did it solo with henchies anyway.....so..................

I can see your soul through that hole floppinghog haha. I have a similar complaint about the decoration on any of the 'sin armor that has blades on it.

gothic defender clipping very badly with male fissure armor (positioning problem)

death 20/20 rod clips out of the necro's hands wearign scars (positioning problem)

female ritualist luxon 15k headgear has no dangling effect, but luxon 1.5k headgear has them. =( i feel so ripped off after getting it..

anet prolly wont' do anythign about them... wat anet is interested in was nerfing stuff... like how they nerfed fisherman's haven tengu rune farming in the early days which wasn't even relevant or affecting gameplay (coz there weren't rune traders in the early days)... nerfing protbond till its unusable and totally useless skill along the ranks of otugh's cry thingy lol

Notice the Cape and the Art of the Armor -.-

Though not an armor glitch, this one is even more annoying. The hair keeps on clipping through the head again and again. If it were only for emotes i couldn't care less, but it actually happens with almost everything. Running? Yep. Clipping. Casting? Yep. Clipping.

i'd like to see everyone of the complainers make a seemless low polygonal model, texture it, and then add the complex animations to the avatar and see what results they come up with.

i see so many people on here ask for things to be fixed that if they had a clue as to what it takes to actually make games we wouldn't be subject to these types of threads.

well actually it doesnt matter if we can or can't make it ourselves. while its hard yes, we probably all know that... the problem is, they released them like this, not all armors have these issues, so thats the problem.

if all armors has problems like this it wouldn't be a great looking game but a sloppy game. having plain HOLES in armors is just not acceptable... they stretch the armors for the animations, and they skipped quite a few of the obvious emotes that needed better animation tied to the armor.

according to your comment no one should ever even complain about anything they can't make or change themselves, correct? get the hell out of here.

here are my gripes w/ canthan 15k female assassin armor (chest piece only)

man, even w/ the bugs its still my favorite armor

I just die a little inside whenever she attacks or /flexes

I understand ANet has a ton of stuff they need to fix (balancing and other problems that come w/ running a MMO) but does that mean that things like this will never be fixed? Honestly, I'd love to hear someone at ANet pitch in on this (a definitive yes or no would be nice, hell i'll even take some dancing around the topic). I'm a bit POed that ANet will be ignoring all of these small problems because they are always going to be busy w/ the next chapter.

bah! I may have to hold out until some good Nightfall assassin armor shows up (hopefully those wont be bugged, but if they are maybe some chapter 4 assassin armor will look good...)

dont assume assassins and rits are in nightfall, no one knows if they will support past chapters in ANY possible way yet.

Not sure if this counts as art but Luxon 15k Necro Female armor is also missing a shadow on all locations except parts of the leggings (and the head of course). Should not be a glitch on my client either as all my other armors show the shadow perfectly.

Looks very creepy especially when moving around :P

My necro suffers from the same problem, it looks terrible.

Also theres a walking NPC in Lions Arch that only has a head shadow.

In order for each armor to work perfectly they would have to make new animations for each character when they wear a different armor since each armor has different sizes and dimensions.

All these people want everything to be perfect, but thats not going to happen unless you want to pay more money, or get less content in each chapter.

these are low polygon count characters, and for them to have good animation their polygons stretch and distort, and because of that the details on them do the same.

Clipping such as the wars hand going through his shoulder pad are because the new armors aren't the dimensions originally designed for that character.

Id rather the game be playable then complain that my wars armor looks weird when I do a certain emote.

And to be honest, I have never played an mmo where the armors didn't have problems

crow120: The armor you show is unlikely to ever be fixed. The GW engine doesn't sort transparent polygons, so often attempts to draw transparent polygons over each other will result in one being masked out by the other.

My current nominees:

15k Luxon Female: Fix the glowing wasteline. Fix the dislocated right shoulder.
15k Vabbian Female: Fix the glowing wasteline.

How is it that some armor can stand water, and others can't? I know capes have this problem, but as far as I've understood, most normal armor have no problem with being in water.

Oh, and the Ancient ritualist armor has some other problems too, it's impossible to use it together with other armor pieces as it cuts off a part of the waist and legs. As in, the ritualist just has a huge gap where her waist should be, and her legs don't connect to anything.

On the 15k Luxon Necro armor the back of the head appears through the collar when you're strafing left and right.
